I Have Issues with Solar-Log

If you're experiencing issues with Solar-Log, consider the following possible errors:

Common Issues and Solutions

  • Incorrect FTP Server Address

    • If the FTP server you've entered is incorrect, the Solar-Log will not attempt to connect to our server.
    • Solution: Double-check the FTP server address in the Solar-Log settings.
  • Incorrect Username

    • If the username is incorrect, Solar-Log will connect to our server, but it will not be found in the logs because we search by username.
    • Solution: Verify that the username entered matches the provided credentials.
  • No Internet Connection for Solar-Log

    • If no data appears in the Solar-Log portal, this might indicate an internet connection issue.
    • Solution: Ensure the Solar-Log device has an active internet connection.
  • On-Site Firewall Problems

    • Even if data is visible in the Solar-Log portal, firewall issues might still be blocking FTP communication.
    • Solution: Check firewall settings and allow FTP traffic.
  • Incorrect FTP Security Configuration

    • Solar-Log supports different FTP security methods, but not all are compatible with our server.
    • Solution: If security settings are enabled, ensure that only supported FTP security methods are used.

If the issue persists, please reach out for further assistance.
