Setting up Flower
The manual describes the steps to set up Flower External Control on the SmartgridOne Controller.
When setting up this integration, permission is granted to Flower to control the battery and/or solar inverters.

Prerequisites
1. Add the batteries
Login to the commissioning interface and make sure the devices are added to the SmartgridOne Controller.
2. Check the grid power limits
In the settings, the grid power limits should be set correctly. Click Settings and check the highlighted setting in the image. If necessary, adjust the settings.
3. Flower API Credentials
Flower will provide the following credentials, which must be used when adding the External Signal:
- API Username
- API Password
- Partner ID (generally the same as the API Username)
- MQTT Client ID
Alongside these credentials, select the devices and meters which exist and can be controller by Flower. This includes batteries, solar panels (or both), and grid meters. Finally, the correct bidding zone of the asset must be selected.
Add 'Flower - External Control'
In the next page, you have the option to include/exclude devices for remote control. Ensure to mark all checkboxes of devices you'd like to include.
Note
When using multiple batteries or solar inverters, they are aggregated into one (virtual) asset for Flower.
'Flower' is now set up on the SmartgridOne Controller.
